ABOUT
Commonwealth Home Support Program (CHSP) is a program which aims to provide assistance to frail-aged residents who experience difficulty with the normal tasks of daily living and are therefore at risk of premature institutionalisation. In line with the GCAIS purpose of celebrating inclusiveness, independence and participation, our programs and services are positioned to maximise our client’s own goals.
The project is funded by the Australian Government, Department of Health (DoH). Clients must be assessed for eligibility, and access is dependent on service availability. A modest financial contribution for each occasion of service may apply.
