GCAIS Chairperson Announced as Cronulla Volunteer of the Year

By March 17, 2024News

It is with pride that I announce that our Chairperson of the GCAIS Board, Kaye Herald, was today presented the Volunteer Award for Cronulla (Mark Speakman MP’s electorate).
Kaye was recognised for her leadership of the Board of which she has been President and then Chairperson since 2020. In that time, Kaye has provided mentoring and coaching to both the Board and Operations and also lead the change from a Management Committee to being a Board, attracting a higher level of talent to Board positions. Kaye can be found at Youth Leadership presentations, special events for GCAIS seniors, refugee picnics, staff meetings and presentations so as to truly understand the business and liaise with our clients gaining invaluable information on how GCAIS can further enhance our services.
Both Kaye and I were astounded by the stories and efforts of volunteers who were nominated for this award, making it even more special that she was awarded as the overall winner. The future of GCAIS is even brighter with leaders such as Kaye behind us.
