Recent events have informed us that technology and devices are essential in keeping connected. These small group sessions will cover topics (and are not limited to) such as:

  • The Essentials:What is a computer? What is a smartphone? What is a laptop? What is the Internet? What is a tablet?
  • Get to Know Your Device: keyboard, mouse, touchscreen, computer
  • How to do your banking on line
  • Getting Started on Line: Using the internet, Using online forms, Using email, Using search engines,
  • An introduction to internet security
  • Safety First: Safe passwords, Avoiding scams and tricks

Today’s session is Accessing The Internet.

This program is an opportunity to:

  • Learn the essentials of phones/tablets /computers and more
  • Connect with family and friends
  • Stay safe whilst online
  • Learn new skills
