Walking Groups-Ready, Set, Walk

Free T-Shirt for the first 20 walkers to register!!!!!!!!!!

Just in time for Summer, our walking groups are set up and awaiting your registration. In conjunction with Heart Foundation Walking, we have formed 4 groups to meet the needs of all ages and fitness levels. What’s even better, we have placed as much attention on the “after walk” social for those with the time to stay with the group just that little bit longer. Think cafes, smoothies, great conversation. Today it’s Gymea/Cronulla-tomorrow, Kokoda!!!

 

  • HOW TO REGISTER
    To learn more, go to Heart Foundation Walking. By entering 2227 into the postcode field, the Gymea Easy Pacers; Gymea Pacers and Gymea Guns will appear. Follow the prompts and enrol directly through the site.

    It’s Free to join the walk!!!! Additional costs to purchase the GCAIS walking t-shirt, water bottle and “after walk” activity
  • GROUP INFORMATION
    There are 4 Groups in 3 levels:
    Gymea Easy Pacers: Slow to Moderate Walkers. Tuesdays at 9:30am
    Gymea Pacers: Medium. Mondays at 7:30am
    Gymea Evening Pacers. Easy. Thursdays 4:00pm
    Gymea Finally Friday: Moderate. Fridays at 9:00am
  • WHERE
    All groups are starting this initiative at either Gymea or Cronulla. Click on the groups above to find specific information.

Tradies Support the DriveTime Program

We are pleased to announce that Tradies has again supported our Drivetime Learner Driver Mentor Program. This program supports Refugees in gaining their P1 driver’s licence. Without their support, this funding that contributes to supporting independence, inclusion, participation and transitions to employment , members from this Community may not receive such a great opportunity.

We thank Tradies for their continued support and commitment to our Community.
